Before every trade fair, the corner points of the exhibitor stands have to be precisely measured - hundreds of thousands of times a year! Measuring and drawing in the corner points in the conventional way takes several days per hall and trade fair. This means that valuable time is lost for using the exhibition hall. The solution implemented by VisiTrans with AR-Explorer for Messe Nürnberg completes this task in a fifth of the time. With the Hololens, the stand planning is projected onto the exact position in the hall, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual measurements. The boundaries become virtually visible, can be walked along and marked immediately. The trade fair gains several weeks of valuable time for the use of its hall space!
