Today we present JAIMS - an AI agent that is characterised by its specific application possibilities in various business areas.
With ‘Field2BIM’, IMS is developing an app for real-time quality assurance. AI and augmented reality enable the automated comparison of BIM models with construction work for the first time. A project of the 5G4Construction network.
On 18 September 2024, Internet Marketing Services GmbH (IMS) and Neher Butz Plus GmbH met at a construction site in Ulm to test the AR-Explorer platform in practice. AR-Explorer, developed by IMS, makes it possible to visualise complex BIM data directly on site in AR.
On June 27, the final meeting of the project partners in the energyTWIN research project took place at aedifion GmbH in Cologne. The project focused on new sensor and AI-supported methods for the BIM-based commissioning of technical building equipment in building construction and their energy system optimization.
We have now been able to test AR-Explorer at the Viega Cube in Aachen, an installation with an enormous amount of complex technical building equipment (TGA) and therefore an ideal place to test the overlay and the resulting added value of digital 3D and BIM data and reality. Of course, it was particularly exciting to see how well the slam tracking would work on the smartphone.
In the world of construction, coordination and communication between the various parties has always been a challenge. However, with the increasing complexity of construction projects and the proliferation of digital tools, a paradigm shift is underway. Two such tools that are attracting a lot of attention in the industry are BCF tickets and IFC.
With advances in technology, particularly in the field of augmented reality (AR), museums are faced with the opportunity to transform their exhibition experiences and offer visitors a whole new level of interaction and immersion.
In this post, we'll look at the pros and cons of both options to find out which is best for the construction industry.
Digitale Zwillinge verändern die Immobilienbranche grundlegend. Die virtuelle Nachbildung physischer Gebäude optimiert Planung, Bau und Verwaltung. Erfahren Sie, wie diese Technologie Effizienz und Innovation vorantreibt.
In an era where technology is changing the way we work every day, the construction industry has undergone a remarkable transformation. One of the most innovative developments in this area is the integration of augmented reality (AR) into building information modeling (BIM).
Communication plays a crucial role in facility management, the art of operating and maintaining buildings efficiently. With the increasing complexity of buildings and facilities, effective and transparent communication between different parties is becoming ever more important. This is where BCF tickets come into play - a powerful tool that revolutionizes collaboration in facility management.
Our applications with AR Explorer can be used on various AR-enabled devices and AR glasses, such as Hololens, Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest.
