In this practical video, we show how you can use AR-Explorer Construction to display specific elements within the TGA models by setting IFC properties as filters.

After exact positioning by scanning the QAR codes, the entire 3D BIM model is superimposed in augmented reality. We then demonstrate how you can use the layer menu to show only the electrical engineering and then set a specific IFC property filter. In the example, we activate the lamp type ‘BE-03b (BG)’ so that only these luminaires are visible as an AR overlay in the building shell.

This function allows site managers and engineers to maintain an overview and analyse individual trades in a targeted manner - for even more efficient construction control!
